For over 15 years, Moondog Studios has blessed the Bay Area with world-renowned talent, a one-of-a-kind impeccable vibe, and top-notch recording production for music of all genres. Moondog Studios jam sessions are legendary, attracting the funkiest players as the aural perfection of the exquisite Main Live Room is streamed into the Protools HD outfitted chill-out Control Room. MDS is also the preferred rehearsal location amongst those who know, as it is a turnkey setup complete with kitchen and outdoor break-area.
Moondog Studios maintains a buzzing atmosphere. The main studio is the workspace of founder Marquinho Brasil, engineered by Andrew Leavitt, Jara Ra (Jararaca), and Brad Bell. The two auxiliary studios are occupied by local resident artists — recording Engineer Stephen Beacham and drummer René Escovedo.
